Hello, I am Alyssa.

In the far depths of Western Kentucky, I have resided for 27 years. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was little. You'd always see me with a camera in my hand. From nature to people. I homeschooled the last part of high school with A Beka Academy. It was truly a blessing and an opportunity I know I was gifted with. With that, I was able to enhance my artistic career as early as 16 years old. Yes, I know I wasn't an adult quite yet, but I already had people wanting me to do photography sessions with them. Which, I offered for free. Since I was needing the experience probably more than they needed any pictures. But I truly appreciated it. It made me into the photographer I am today. At 18 years old, I went to school to become a certified photographer. I learned more about the business aspect of it rather than the actual art of it, but it certainly helped.

After that, I landed (what seemed to be) a huge job shortly after graduating photography school. I became head photographer at Olan Mills/Lifetouch Portrait Studios. Looking back, I realized that it wasn't AS big of a job as I had thought, but from them I actually became a double certified photographer. And I am thankful for the experience. After leaving (because Olan Mills shut down) I started doing my own business. This was in 2012.

Fast forward to 2020, I have established myself as a well-known local photographer and I have some of the most loyal clients and my client base grows every single year. I mainly do outdoor photography, because it is my favorite. But I do studio work as well. Especially for headshots, newborn and boudoir.
